EFSC Hosts Public Meeting

The Muddy Creek solar project continues to move forward and has reached another milestone in the siting approval process with the state of Oregon.

In May, we filed a Notice of Intent with the Oregon Energy Facility Siting Council for our project. Now, a public information meeting hosted by EFSC will be held in person and remotely at 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, at Brownsville City Hall. At the meeting, our team will give an overview of our proposal for the Muddy Creek solar project. Staff from the Oregon Department of Energy will also be on hand to explain the application and evaluation process.
Audience members can join remotely via webinar: WEBINAR LINK.

  • Password: EFSC (3372)
Everyone in the community is encouraged to attend this meeting, ask questions and provide perspectives. This is an important project for the community, and we want to make sure that everyone’s voices are heard. We invite you to attend the meeting in Brownsville.

For anyone who can’t attend the meeting, we encourage you to submit your comments to the Oregon Department of Energy through this portal by 5 p.m. Aug. 11. (Select the Muddy Creek Energy Park project from the drop-down menu.) You can also send comments via mail, email or fax. You’ll find more information on how to do that at the Oregon EFSC’s website.

We look forward to this public meeting and the opportunity to hear from the community as the Muddy Creek Solar Project continues to move ahead.
